Loos & Company is the flagship aerospace facility for the Ropes and Components Division. The 220,000 square foot facility in Pomfret, Connecticut, USA, has the manufacturing capabilities to meet industry standards and specifications as well as exact customer needs.

Founded in 1958, Loos and Company has become a leader in manufacturing a wide range of wire, aircraft cable and wire rope. Loos draws, strands and closes wire ropes up to 1-1-4 inches in diameter at our facility in Pomfret, Connecticut, USA.

Our facilities are state-of-the-art and include: Rope Plant, Extrusion Room, Cable Technology Area, Wire Plant, Processing and Testing Labs - We are your one-stop shop.

Today, Loos & Co. is proud to be part of the Central Wire Group of Companies, representing the Rope and Components Division of the Company. This division consists of three brands located throughout the United States, Loos & Co. Inc., Strand Core and Sanlo Inc., each offering different capabilities to meet our customers' precise specifications.
